This German Navy survey vessel that underwent HANSELINER treatment during a scheduled docking period. The task involved the complete relining of galvanised steel ballast water pipelines across three areas of the ship: the provisions room, the switchboard room, and the drive room. A three-person HHH specialist team applied a two-component epoxy resin using rotating brushes over two separate deployments, treating approximately 22 metres of pipe including 18 coupling sleeves. Access was particularly demanding in the switchboard room, where confined spaces required strict safety measures throughout. Coating results were consistently good across all sections, with full multi-layer coverage achieved even in hard-to-reach bends and sleeve joints.
