Second Commitment onboard the Mega Yacht
Next part will be a challenging pipe renovation of 10 pcs. Bilge and Ballast Water (BW) cross overflow lines DN135, DN175 and DN250 of five pairs DB Tanks.
Also, some additional Cold Water (CW) lines in way of forward mast AC unit will be treated.
Overview
A total of ten crossover overflow lines for five pairs of Bilge and BW tank (10 in total) are to be treated and coated by the SPRAYLINER system.
Main task: Cleaning the pipes, including the removal of water and deposits – the removal of all debris is carried out by the Buyer’s cleaners.
The pipes have approximately one or two (each) weld socket(s) and one 90° bend. All tanks are double bottom (DB) tanks, i.e. tank heights of: 1,200/ 1,500/ and 1,700mm.
The tanks 4 PS+Stb are com-bined DB and side tanks having a total height of 5m.
- All work must be carried out from the tanks.
- Mech. Cleaning – CAM Inspection – Application (HANSE REPAIRLINE only in Tk4).
- The sleeves are not very deep.
