This project involved a government vessel over 40 years old. The main fire-fighting line (DN250) on the starboard side was scheduled for complete renovation. The vessels of
the German coast guard can also be used for fire-fighting purposes, and the large fire-fighting pumps are directly connected to the main engine.

For large pipes with multiple bends, the removal of the pipes had to be considered. Some pipes would also need to be separated because they would be too long to
accommodate the HANSELINER once it is filled with resin. Since the line needs to withstand high pressure of 8–10 bar, the use of appropriate pipe clamps and transitions was
also taken into account. Ultimately, the budget for the entire shipyard period exceeded expectations. In 2019, the decision was made to replace the ship with a new one.
